….several little things and some not-so-little things to make our life a bit more simple here at the farm.
We need: more garden hoses; a couple of more metal water troughs; some more HDMI cables; a couple of more stock tank heaters; the rest of the material for curtains; insulation for the attic; the shed in the backyard moved; dog collars; more milk jugs….and the list for the farm will go on and on and on and on. Farm life says that, when you finally get some of the things on your list of needs and/or wants, there are ALWAYS items to replace them.
Have a BLESSED week!

…that I will ever need to do any research for sectional sofas los angeles bound. We have a sectional…or should I say…part of a sectional that someone blessed us with a couple of years ago. We actually ditched the corner section of it because it just did not fit into the floor plan of our house very well. The other two sections work fairly well, though. I can’t really ever see us with a full sectional sofa, especially in Los Angeles, though I am SURE there are ALOT of people in Los Angeles that have sectional sofas that actually work with the floor plan of their house.
Have a VERY blessed week!

That has kind of become our theme here on our farm. It seems like we have ALL been going through the footwear a bit faster than we were before. Of course, what footwear we DO have, with FEW exceptions, gets ALL of our everyday-doing-whatever wear, whether it’s going to church when we can get there, or going out amongst the goats when they are kidding to introduce ourselves to the kids and check on Mama and such. What can we say? Between the rain and snow and mud and the dry-as-a-desert-dust, when we’ve gone from one extreme to the other, and the fact that they don’t make footwear like they used too, we can only expect that our clothes and working tools are going to wear a little faster with all of our use and abuse. I am not sure I will ever have a pair of zamberlan boots, because I really don’t think they would hold up to the use and abuse of every day on the farm, but I suppose it is a possibility.
Here’s hoping you had a wonderfully blessed Thanksgiving and are looking forward to the blessings and miracles of the Christmas season.
Have a blessed weekend!

Well, with Thanksgiving upon us, some people’s thoughts turn to the upcoming holidays, or wedding anniversaries or birthdays that happening during the holiday season. Some people think of the upcoming weddings that they have planned. In this day and age, alot of people are having their weddings videographed. I can’t say that I would ever be one of the raleigh wedding videographers, but it is possible that I will try my hand at videography in whatever area of the world that I am in when I finish getting the rest of the equipment.
Have a BLESSED Thanksgiving!

I was reading a catalog last night that sells books, and in this catalog, they have a book about a woman who’s cheating husband is dying of cancer. She decides she isn’t going to go through the situation alone, so she gets out his little black book and starts calling the women in there and invites them to come by and see him. Little does she know that they actually DO come by. Now, I doubt that the women in this book are house cleaning service cary nc, but I suppose it’s possible.
Have a BLESSED weekend!

I have been doing some research the last few days on ways to increase our income here at the farm. There are NUMEROUS ways to do this, of course. One of the ways that I was looking in to was when I saw there was a bunch of Speech-Language Pathologist Jobs requiring medical transcriptionists. The pay isn’t too bad, and I could do it from the comfort of my own home when it’s convenient for me, which means that the farm responsibilities would still be taken care of, as well as my other responsibilities that I have that I really can’t stop doing. My research will definitely continue, but I think the transcriptioning is a GOOD possibility in the near future.
Have a BLESSED week!

I am not too sure, but I believe that, in certain instances, the good Lord has put qualities in plants and animals and our own bodies that Science can’t even fathom yet . Seaweed products are among that list. We already suspect that seaweed is an item that is RICH in nutrients, and thus it can help us with our iron absorption and such. There are tales of people eating seaweed for literally MONTHS and being healthier than when they were first shipwrecked. I would be interested to know what seaweed products would be useful in bath salts and bubble baths and in soaps, and what the benefits would be to using stuff like that with seaweed in it.
Have a blessed weekend!

With the coming of cooler weather, it has made a realization be brought closer to home in the last couple of days that Christmas is right around the corner. And, with Christmas comes the holiday rush to get gifts for everyone that you love, and sometimes those that you don’t love. I have to say that, if I was going to be spending alot of money on people for Christmas gifts, I believe one of my Brother-In-Law’s that is a member of one of the gold prospecting associations might like to get one of the waterproof metal detectors. Where could he NOT hunt for gold with one of those?
God Bless!

…is rv repairs. Now, I might need car repairs, washing machine and dryer repairs, lawn mower repairs, pick-up repairs, horse trailer repairs, refrigerator repairs, dehumidifier repairs, and many more, but I don’t have an rv, so I don’t need any rv repairs, which is a good thing!
In this day and age, I find it interesting that, every time we turn around, it seems like we need to be getting something repaired. What ever happened to the days when people fixed their own items when they were in need of repair? Of course, in that day and age, whatever it was that was needing repaired was normally something that helped keep the family fed and the household running smoothly.
God Bless!

Ever since we got Direct Star TV, I have been hooked on Lifetime movies. I could watch them all day long. I can’t figure out why I like them so much. I started watching them after a friend told me that there was a Lifetime movie based on one of my favorite books. The movie followed the book pretty closely and I really enjoyed it, so I decided to start watching more Lifetime movies. The actors on these movies are not very good, and the storylines are almost never realistic. Maybe that is why I like the movies: because they let me zone out from reality. One day I was home sick from work and I decided to stay in bed and watch Lifetime movies all day. They played movies from the nineties that were pretty bad, but the recent movies were much better. I couldn’t even stop watching the movies that I thought were bad. I guess they’re like train wrecks: I just couldn’t look away. My husband makes fun of me for watching these movies, but he would never admit to the fact that he got sucked into one movie I was watching the other day.
