Some More Winter
February 20th, 2010Ahhhh, yes, this “peculiar” Winter here in Kansas lingers on, MUCH to some people’s dismay!! Today has been dismal, cool, and wet, and tomorrow is probably not going to be much better. We actually have a Winter Storm Warning out from 6P.M. tonight until 6 A.M. on Monday morning.
This weather has made it kind of difficult to do some of the things that we’ve been wanting to do the last few weeks. You know….all of those Springtime activities like cleaning barns and stalls and chicken houses, and planting trees and flowers and such, and rerouting our “water flow” for when we have run-off after a rain and such, redoing our driveway. I have animals that need worked with, and more on the way, if I want them.
But, looking on the bright side of this dismal, Wintry weather, we have been able to make plans and such for the basement and what we would like to do with it, and some plans for the chicken house and a couple of the runs out front here, so that has been good. We have had time to do some price checking and such, with the help of the internet, so that has been a good thing.
Oh well, off to find something else to do, so have a BLESSED weekend, and we’ll try to drop by again real soon!!!
