The Day Before….
January 10th, 2010…my Mother’s birthday, and they are supposed to be taking a friend of mine off of life support about this afternoon. It has been a long Summer for her, and her husband, as she has been in the hospital for a MOST of the last half of 2009. Now she has an infection in her blood system that they haven’t been able to get under control yet, her blood pressure is low, her heart rate this morning is dangerously high and she needs the ventilator to help her get enough oxygen to survive…and here I sit at home. We AREN’T stopping our prayers for a miracle just yet, but in the natural, it doesn’t look all that promising. There seems to be a small possibility that her body will continue to function after they take her off life support, but the chances, in the natural realm, are EXTREMELY small.
