….weight loss before we had all of the options for the different weight loss pills that we have nowadays? That is an interesting question, don’t you think?
What did they do for meals before we had crockpots, and electric skillets, and gas stoves?
What did they do for hot water before they had hot water tanks?
What did they do for travelling long distances before we had cars or buses?
What did they do when their laundry was dirty before we had washers and dryers?
What did they do to put on their make-up before we had electric lights in the bathroom?
Just some interesting questions for you to puzzle about the next time you need some place to focus your mind….

…that there are SOOOOOO many different products out there on the shelves these days that ALL claim they can help you lose belly fat. They all seem to say that only THEY are the best on the market and “guarantee” results. I will agree that people of ALL ages being overweight in America is a MAJOR problem…..and a concern….but I’m not sure another “pill” is the answer. What did people do before we got the technology and science to make these products? Stop and think about it sometime….you MIGHT even go do some research on it. I think that is an interesting question, personally.
Blessings to all!!

Did you know that the word “tuxedo” originated in 1889 in Tuxedo Park, New York? Tuxedo Park was the site where a tuxedo was first worn in 1886, from what I have been able to find, but the term for “tuxedo” didn’t originate until 1889. Apparently, the term at THAT time meant that it was a semi-formal way to dress. In my opinion, a tuxedo means that it is a formal party. It’s AMAZING what kind of information you can find, IF you are willing to do the research and take the time needed to do some digging!!!

Well, it’s raining….AGAIN!!! I’m not complaining though, because at least we DID have SEVERAL days of NICE weather, so it pretty well was all but completely dried out from the last rain a couple of weeks ago. The temperature isn’t bad tonight, either….just right for a walk in the rain, if it wasn’t dark and so late.
We’ve had ALOT going on here the last couple of months!!! LOTS of changes, and different things happening!!! We moved into a new house, for one. It’s on a quiet, country road, with only 4 other houses in the mile stretch that we live on, and none of those are super close, so I am happy!!! LOTS to be done, even though we’ve been working on it for a couple of months now. Frankly, I figure we will have ALOT to do for another 11 or 12 months or so…then it will hopefully taper off to just maintenance on what we’ve already accomplished!! It has been SOOOOO nice to actually have things to do, both inside AND outside!!! So, whether I am inside the house, or outside enjoying the weather, I can ALWAYS find something to fill my time with (as if my schedule wasn’t full enough!!). What can I say? I LOVE the property!!! And I’d like to say “thank you” to the person/people that made this place possible!!! Words cannot express my gratitude at this point.
Okay, I think I’ve run out of rambling, so we will close for now….maybe see about going to bed for awhile? Blessings to you and yours!!!

Okay, I have heard of a LOT of different “mounts”, but when I hear the words “plasma mounts“, I’m afraid that, some days, my imagination kind of runs away with me. I’ve heard of mounting a horse, a donkey, a mule, a camel, even an ostrich or a motorcycle, but how do you mount plasma? Does it ride smooth? Hmmmmmm…..Interesting….don’t you think? Another question I have is: After you get mounted on your plasma, what happens then? Oh well, some rambling, weird thoughts for you to ponder on if you’d like….

With this new chapter opening in our lives, we are ACTUALLY looking at the possibility of being able to afford to go on a REAL vacation in the next few months, if we decide we want to. Sooooo, with that in mind, we have been kicking around a bunch of possible places. We have thought about orlando vacations, Branson vacations, California vacations, mountain vacations, and several others. We have thought about vacations where we go camping, fishing, sight-seeing, and others where we would do a bunch of museums, amusement parks, water parks, historical re-enactments, and such. Sooooooo many possibilities!!!!

Well, it looks like we won’t have to do an Austin Job Search for a friend now!!! Might have to do one for somewhere else, but not in Austin.
You know, it’s kind of an interesting thing….being able to search for jobs on-line. Not only can you search for jobs where you currently are, but you can search for, apply for and finalize a job deal for just about ANY place you’d like to go, and you can do it ALL on-line!!! How cool is that? It’s been an interesting learning experience to help this friend with his job search over the last couple of months, because we found websites with jobs that we didn’t even know existed.

Refurbished or new…..THAT is the sixty-four million dollar question these days. Did you know that you can get refurbished just-about-anything? I have seen everything from refurbished refrigerators to refurbished laptops, refurbished stereo systems to refurbished typewriters. And generally, the price for a refurbished item IS quite a bit less than a new one. But, the question is: Is the refurbished item going to LAST like a new one? Sometimes they do, and you don’t need to worry about it for 10 years or more. Other times, they don’t, and you have nothing but a headache from that product. I guess it is all in the personal opinion AND experience of the individual person buying the product. Some people have GREAT luck with refurbished stuff and won’t buy anything brand new, if they can help it. Other people have terrible luck with refurbished stuff, and won’t buy anything refurbished.
Blessings!!!
