September Ramblings
September 26th, 2009The days seem to be flying by as fast as the weather seems to be cooling off. Seems like there is NEVER enough hours in the day to get everything done. And, yes, it seems like, in certain areas of life, everything I touch takes me three times as long as it should.
Fall seems to have arrived earlier than normal this year. Saw a small flock of geese flying South in a “V” formation this morning. It’s only about a month earlier than normal. There’s quite a few people that are convinced that we are going to have a long, hard Winter. I, on the other hand, are not QUITE so sure. I think this Fall and Winter COULD very possibly be like this last Spring was…..wet and cool. I guess we will see, won’t we?
Haven’t been to church much the last 3 or 4 months. Between feeling like I’m burning both ends of the candle and running from one end of the country to the other, we just haven’t hit that “go-to-church-more” groove this Fall. I HAVE been getting in some Bible reading here and there, though. Not as regularly as I would like, but some is better than none, I think.
Well, about time for bed, me thinks, so we can get up tomorrow and do it all over again, so I will sign off for now. You all take care, and claim those blessings from God that are rightfully yours!!!
