The days seem to be flying by as fast as the weather seems to be cooling off. Seems like there is NEVER enough hours in the day to get everything done. And, yes, it seems like, in certain areas of life, everything I touch takes me three times as long as it should.
Fall seems to have arrived earlier than normal this year. Saw a small flock of geese flying South in a “V” formation this morning. It’s only about a month earlier than normal. There’s quite a few people that are convinced that we are going to have a long, hard Winter. I, on the other hand, are not QUITE so sure. I think this Fall and Winter COULD very possibly be like this last Spring was…..wet and cool. I guess we will see, won’t we?
Haven’t been to church much the last 3 or 4 months. Between feeling like I’m burning both ends of the candle and running from one end of the country to the other, we just haven’t hit that “go-to-church-more” groove this Fall. I HAVE been getting in some Bible reading here and there, though. Not as regularly as I would like, but some is better than none, I think.
Well, about time for bed, me thinks, so we can get up tomorrow and do it all over again, so I will sign off for now. You all take care, and claim those blessings from God that are rightfully yours!!!
Blessings in ABUNDANCE!!!

Okay, I’ll admit it….contrary to popular belief, I am NOT the most organized person in the world. That’s why, when I found a link for an Organizational development university, I HAD to take a look at it and see what exactly it was, and all of those other menial details that you browse when you think that a certain course MIGHT be for you. I, personally, didn’t even know that there WAS such a thing as organizational developement courses, let alone organizational LEADERSHIP courses!!! Why don’t more employers ask about courses like this? It looks to me like it would be a VERY beneficial thing to have on your resume. If you are an employer, I would HAVE to recommend looking for people with a course or two of organizational skills behind them. And, if you are someone who is looking to be a CEO or something similar, I would DEFINITELY recommend you look into taking a on-line course in organizational development or organizational leadership. It MIGHT be the BEST move you can make, career-wise!!!

Pills here….pills there….it seems like pills are taking over our world!!! There are a NUMBER of pills that bombard our minds every day from all different avenues…..antibiotics, pain relievers, decongestants, best diet pills, pills to make you sleep, pills to wake you up…..and the list goes on. Have you ever stopped to wonder what all of these pills do to our bodily systems? Might be an interesting thing to think about some day, when you have time to REALLY wonder!!!

Now that we ACTUALLY have a patio in the backyard, we MIGHT be looking for some patio furniture covers to protect the patio furniture that we will probably get at some point in the not-to-distant future. I DO know that our patio will be NICE next Summer in the evenings, for cooking out and enjoying the coolish Summer breeze while we wait for the sun to go down!!!

It seems like there is a “How To…” for EVERYthing these days!!! Everything from how to set the clock on your obsolete VCR to how to lose belly fat. I ESPECIALLY like the book series that has come out ….”….For Dummies”. They’ve got ALOT of good ideas, and eventually, in the next year or two, I plan on actually OWNING one of those books on HTML programming. I know some about HTML codes, but that book has ALOT of things in it that I DON’T know….or how to do them easier than the way that I normally do them. It will be a GOOD addition to my library!!!

With this new chapter of our lives beginning, out come new and different vacation ideas too. Having the money for a true vacation can be an exciting thought. Now, the only thing that’s left is to choose: Do we want to look into Florida vacations or California vacations? A vacation to Pennsylvania or Nebraska? Colorado, Arizona, Tennessee or Louisiana? Do we want to go camping, or stay in a hotel? Do we want to go see people we know or go somewhere where we don’t know anyone? Do we want to be in a crowd of other vacationers or out in the wilderness? LOTS of choices!!!! ALL will be FUN!!!

Wellllll, now, life has almost ALWAYS been interesting around our house, but I’m wondering what will come next? We have a new chapter opening in our lives…one that promises to take us places that we’ve never been before….maybe to a world where a tuxedo vest and evening gown are items of the norm? Wouldn’t that be interesting for us?…*laughs at the thought* But, no matter HOW funny the thoughts are, we are going to walk through this new chapter of our lives with joy and patience, and confidence, and TRY to be open minded about whatever new ideas come our way.

As we are being reintroduced to the world of television, I have a HARD time believing the volume of commercials for anti-aging this and that. From everyone claiming that they are the best eye wrinkle cream on the market to overnight facials, and all SORTS of other products that “guarantee” to bring back your youthful look, it seems that these commercials bombard the general public with a message that says it’s not okay to look your age. MY question is: WHY is it NOT “okay” to look your age? Some of us have actually EARNED the way we look, by difficult times, tests and trials, and by the good times as well. Ahhhhh, another one of life’s mysteries, I suppose.

We have always had pets, even when I was growing up, AND when I was married. Well, the trend continues, for as we enter another chapter in our lives, it looks like our “pets” will change also. As our pets change, so will our pet supplements. We will be going to less processed, more natural pet supplements, as well as in other areas of our lives too. Not a drastic change, but one that will take some getting used too, in ALL areas of our lives.

It seems like everyone is playing catch up when it comes to technology these days. Even I am, and I used to be someone that I considered to be in the “in” crowd, because I knew about what all the latest technological advancements did and why they were useful, or why they weren’t. I seem to have fallen behind a bit in the last 10 years or so, though. Now there are things that I only know the names of, but don’t know for SURE what they do….things like ipods, and mp3 players, and pocket palms and several other things. The “smart phones” are another category that I don’t know much about…does that mean that, if you don’t currently have a “smart phone”, that you have a “dumb phone”?
