Vegas
June 18th, 2009Someone asked me not too long ago if I had ever been to Las Vegas, Nevada. I told them that I had been there MANY times for various reasons. Of course, the last time was several years ago, and it was before the Stratosphere hotel had been built. Doesn’t that sound like a kind of cool place to visit? Just to see what the building looks like? Ahhhhh, well, if I’m going to go back to Nevada in the future, Las Vegas would NOT be one of my first stops. There is sooooooo much to see and do in other parts of the state!!! And ALOT of those other activities are a little more “family friendly” that a casino/hotel. As the Mother of a 7-year-old boy, I am ALWAYS thinking about “family friendly” atmospheres and activities for us to do, whether we are thinking about going on vacation or just staying in our neck-of-the-woods and playing tourist.
