Cell Phones
June 18th, 2009Cell phones, like other smaller electronics, seem to rule the world these days. It seems ALMOST everyone has one. For some people, their cell phone is like a lifeline….they wouldn’t know what to do without it. For others, it’s a mode of contacting someone if their car breaks down or in other emergencies….or for certain other people to be able to contact them when they are away from the house phone. Cell phones can be confusing though, when you go to buy one. You have SOOOOO many choices: locked phone and unlocked phone, “smart” phone and the alternative which, in MY opinion would have to be a “dumb” phone, ones with keyboards and ones with just a dialing keypad. When you go to get your next cell phone, shop carefully, and make sure you understand the features and limitations of the phone you are looking at. Some of the limitations can be a pain in the rear end, if you don’t realize they are limited in that way until after you sign the contract and get them home.
