A Trend
January 29th, 2009There is a trend happening all across the world these days, but especially here in the United States. Maybe you wouldn’t think it is a “trend” in the regular sense, but that’s what it is in my mind. The trend is increasing obesity, not only in adults, but in children and even infants. This is a sad trend, in my opinion, especially where the children and infants are involved, because MOST of the increasing obesity in these age groups is because of lack of activity and exercise and TOO MUCH JUNK FOOD.
Another trend that is happening at the same time as the obesity trend is a trend in weight loss products, from weight loss pills to artificial sweeteners to weight loss drinks and other diet programs.
And to think that 200 years ago, obesity for just about ANY age group was a rarity!!!
