Yep, that’s what this is, I think. NOW the trick will be to STAY enthused about the day after daylight!!!
I’ve been up for hours already. Just couldn’t sleep, so after laying in bed awake for better than an hour, I decided I might as well get up and do something constructive!!! So I got up and read some out of my Bible and another “religious” type book. Then I got on here, and have been doing NUMEROUS things that need done, including earning some money!!! Another while, and I’ll have to get my son up and get him ready to go to school. Then I’ll have to come back and see about getting some dinner started and some more done around the house here, like starting laundry and dishes. I’ll have a couple of errands to run about mid-morning or so, and check on my Sister. Not too many hours after that, it will be time to go get my son from school and get him ready to go to his Father’s for the weekend. Then it’ll be do dinner, and feed the animals. As if that’s not enough to do today, I also need to do some MORE computer stuff, and help my Sister with two or three things on the computer. Sounds kind of like a busy day to me!!!
More later, maybe…if I get time…Have a blessed day, all!!!

All I can say is….WOW!!!! Somebody FINALLY came up with a picture site after my own heart!!!
Ever since I started blogging, I have been looking for a place to store my blog pictures AND to get other pictures from. If I could do it without uploading them into my own site, that would make it ALL the better!!! But, as ALOT of you out there know, 99.9% of the sites that host pictures and will let you use them DON’T want you “hotlinking” to them. Today, I stumbled upon this website that is TRULY fantastic!!! They have quality photos of ALOT of different descriptions. They have pictures of everything from animals to landscapes, from space to space shuttles, and everything in between. And will let you “hotlink” to the pictures on your blog!!! It’s VERY easy to use!!! And they have it set so you can EASILY get the size of picture that you need without having to resize it yourself!!! AND they give you the complete code you need to use the picture you’ve selected!!! How easy is that?
How do you like THIS picture that I found?

How COOL is that?!?
They’ve also got it so that you can upload your own images to share with the world!!!

Hey, all!!!
This is just a quick note to let you know that we need your help. My Sister and her two girls were involved in a car accident on October 10th, as some of you know. At that time, the doctors thought she had sprained her right wrist. When it wasn’t getting any better, she went back to the doctor and they found a hairline fracture. After doing what the doctor said, she still found her wrist “popping”, even when she was wearing the brace they gave her. So the doctor told her to come back in. They put her in a cast earlier this week, and they are saying that she will be in it AT LEAST 4 weeks.
Why am I telling you this? Well, with her in a cast, she can’t work, which means she has no money coming in to pay rent and utilities. SRS is helping with food by giving her food stamps, but that’s about all the help they have given to this point. Sooooooo, this is where you come in. I know times are rough right now, with Christmas coming and all, and we understand that. But you know what? Even $5 would help buy cleaning supplies and and toilet paper and such!!! Soooooooo, forgive me for sounding like an advertisement here, but IF you can and if God puts it in your heart to help, you can make a contribution to our “Help The Sister” fund by PayPal. You can send your contributions to: mommamonster79@yahoo.com. No, I’m afraid your contributions aren’t tax deductible…Sorry!!! But if you’re like me, it feels good to help, even if you don’t get a tax write-off. If you can’t help, financially, that’s okay too…we DO understand. At least pray for my Sister and her two girls as they go through this time of testing and trial.
What else can you do to help? Well…since you asked….forward this to a few people out of your address book that you consider TRUE friends.
Thank you SOOOOO much for your time….your prayers….AND your efforts to help!!!
God Bless You And Yours ABUNDANTLY!!!

Exodus 26-35 is what I have read so far today in my Bible.
….wasn’t QUITE as productive as yesterday was, but then I had to go to town this afternoon too, which I didn’t have to do yesterday. Maybe I DID get as much done today as I did yesterday….but part of it wasn’t at my place?…*shrugs*…Who knows?
Not much else going on here this evening. Just trying to finish up some computer stuff before I call it a night.
Thank you to those of you who have left comments!!! I appreciate them VERY much!!!
You all have a good evening!! God Bless!!!

The more things change, the more they stay the same…or so the story goes.
Along with the obvious change of seasons that has been marked by the brilliantly colored leaves on the various types of trees, we have noticed that the neighbors have been changing from their Summer-like thought processes into their Winter-Is-Coming thought processes. They’ve been getting firewood up to the house, and cleaning out the flowerbeds of the last remnants of dried up leaves from all of the Spring and Summer foilage. Propane tanks have been filled for the first time. Front doors have been closed more to keep out some of the coolness that the North wind has brought to the neighborhood. People are staying home more because of the coolness and wetness from the rain the last several days. Oh, and let’s not forget that we can actually SEE the neighbor’s house over in the next block, straight across from us, because most of the trees have lost their leaves…*Laughs* Not much change happens around here, other than the changes that we all go through as the seasons turn from one to the next.
What does change look like in YOUR neighborhood?

With buying a house in our foreseeable future, I’ve been looking at the possibility of changing cabinets and cupboards and such. So, I’ve been looking at the knobs and drawer handles and such. I found this website that has some that look similiar to what they used in early America, which works for me!!! They also have other kinds of decorative hardware, too!!! They’ve got everything from knobs and handles to staircase parts, to fireplace mantels, to ceiling domes, to home lighting, to tables and chairs and benches and LOTS more!!! They’ve got installation guides, a search engine to help you find JUST the right item, a blog to keep you up-to-date on all the latest news from the site, and decorating ideas. They’ve got designing ideas and advice, an inspirational gallery, product inspiration, and GREAT customer service!!!
Their website is verified to be secure, and they’ve got a phone number and hours posted on EVERY page of their website, in case you need help.
So, whether you are planning on remodeling your current house, or building a brand new one, you MIGHT want to stop by and check out this website for your decorative hardware needs!!! It MIGHT be the easiest way to buy!!
And, think about it, if they can furnish decorative hardware for your home, they can furnish it for your business too!!!

…coming to a close. The rain continues to fall outside, and the temperature continues to drop. Hey, at LEAST we aren’t feeling that North wind like we did in the other house we lived in about 18 months ago!!!
Didn’t get a WHOLE lot accomplished today, though I DO still have some small tasks to accomplish before my day is over. But I DID get some stuff done. I even earned a little bit of money today!!! How GREAT is that? Got a letter started to a friend this evening!!! Did some MUCH needed reading, as well as entries on my blogs and such. I even read my Bible to my son this evening!!!
And now, my friends, I think it’s time to sign off for now, and see about winding things up a bit, as I enjoy the quietness of the evening before I head to bed for the evening. You all take care, and we’ll try to stay in touch!! *HUGS* to those of you that normally get them.

If you’ve been surfing the internet very long, you probably know that a “wiki” is a VERY helpful “encyclopedia” of information. Well, I’ve found one for STORES on the internet!!! Websites don’t PAY to have their sites advertised here…they are just here because they are on the internet.
I was VERY pleased to find this recently, as Christmas is coming up and I’ve been looking for Christmas presents for my two nieces. SOOOOO, where did I start? I started with Girls Clothing.
They have tips for getting the RIGHT size the FIRST time, which is ALWAYS helpful for those of us who don’t like to clothes shop in the first place!!
They even have a page on Winter Clothes For Kids, which includes links to pages for clothing items, as well as tells you (on SOME items) which material is going to be the warmest and which is going to be the easiest to wash!!!
I don’t know about you, but this MAY just be the place I go to do ALL of my comparison shopping from now on!!!

It’s about time to go get my son from school, so I think that’s all the needless rambling I’m going to do for now.
You all take care, and stay warm!!! Leave me a note or two!!!

Digital cameras are used for almost everything these days. It seems like EVERYONE has one. You have the cheaper ones that you can get at Wal-Mart, all the way up to the ones that you can change lenses on that can cost up to several THOUSAND dollars. Some of them do everything except pop popcorn and wash the dishes, I think. The portability and instant imaging process of digital cameras is nice, but they STILL don’t match the quality of the old still cameras that took film. At least the ones I’ve seen don’t. I suppose if you got one of the more expensive ones, they would take quality photographs that MIGHT match film cameras, but I’m not sure.
