February 24th, 2008All he could think of as he looked at the steaming heap of tangled metal is how much his auto insurance was going to go up. It wasn’t his fault, but that didn’t seem to make much of a difference to the insurance companies these days. Nobody got hurt, but that didn’t seem to make much difference either. The GOOD thing, even though his beloved car looked like it would be totalled, was that no one DID get hurt. There would be NO way that he would be able to replace that car though. It had been one that he’d gotten when he was in high school, and he’d babied her…and pampered her…and taken EXTREMELY good care of her. They didn’t make them like THAT anymore!!
