Struggling To Find Ourselves

With the weather cold here the last few weeks, the water outside has been freezing, so of course for the outdoor animals we have to go out, and break the ice, or take them fresh water. Well, often times I see my goose standing in the fresh water, for long periods of time. I often wonder if she will stand there long enough for the water to freeze again. Surely she is smarter than that, right? I don’t relish the thought of a goose-cickle…*LOL*

He wasn’t your normal teenager. His room was filled with all manner of music equipment and a different array of audio racks. Thankfully he had very understanding and supportive parents! His soul was his music, his desire was his music, the thing he enjoyed most in life, was his music! The music was in his heart, in his soul, in his mind, always! He would sit in his room for hours, practicing with one musical instrument or another, or else he would be writing songs.

Well here a few weeks ago, I was doing well with my knitting. I had finished 3 projects, and started on another one. Here lately though, I’ve been busy, and really had no desire to sit and knit. I had started a light purple hat for one of my nieces, but alas, it sits, only a quarter of the way finished. Perhaps, in another few weeks, things will slow down, and I will once again have the desire to sit and knit for a bit! Not only do I want to finish this hat, but I have several other knitting projects that I would like to do.

As she entered the office, she looked around at the office furniture. It was cold, and fiercly professional looking. She strode over to the chairs and sat down in front of the desk. She looked solemnly at the man sitting behind the desk.

“What can I do for you Miss?” Asked the man behind the desk.

“I was looking to employ your services, if we can reach an agreement of terms.” The woman said

The word “miscellaneous” encompasses a wide variety of things for me. I don’t really think of one thing, when thinking of this word, I think of the miscellaneous projects that I have going. I think of the miscellaneous books that I want to read. I think of the miscellaneous appointments that I have in the upcoming months. I think of the wide array of  miscellaneous things going on in the world around me.

Have you ever used those Clorox or Lysol wipes? I’ve never used the Clorox ones, but the Lysol I got some here several months ago, and they are pretty nifty! They are really nice for when you just need to do a quick wipe on something!! And they smell so good!!

My sister uses the Clorox ones at her work. She says they don’t smell quite as good as the Lysol ones, but again they are great when you want to take a quick swipe at your bathroom counter or something!!

Almost finished with the book of Psalms. Have been reading quite a bit most days.

Other than that, we’ve been keeping busy. Looking forward to being able to get outside more as the days start getting warmer in the next few weeks. Have sooooo much that needs done outside and we are tired of being cooped up so much because of the ice and cold. We just keep reminding ourselves that the Spring warmth WILL come after the Winter cold, in due time.

I have never needed to worry about my weight…or thing about using things like diet pills, or dieting….but I know that being over-weight is a common problem in the world today!

I think a lot of the problem, especially over-weight children, is caused by inactivity! Children have found themselves watching tv and movies, or playing game systems, or sitting in front of the computer….All of these things are perfectly okay!! The key is MODERATION!!!!!!!!!!

I actually spent a few dollars of my money on me this last week. Nothing fancy and, suprisingly enough, not all of it was something I needed! Kind of a strangefeeling, but I HAVE enjoyed the movies that I bought! Might have to go try doing that again sometime soon!

Okay, here I am, supposed to be doing an entry about body shop supplies, and I find that I have absolutely nothing in mind to write this assignment…..Geez, I don’t think that even made sense!! What I’m trying to say is that I am just drawing a blank on writing this morning!!

Usually I can ramble on about something or other, but am having difficulties doing that today….
