Struggling To Find Ourselves

…here.  Have school in the process.  Have been knitting a little bit here and there, in between being needed on the schoolwork.  Internet is slow this morning, probably because of the weather.  Who knows with the internet?  Dad’s in Oklahoma and says they aren’t getting any precipitation down there yet.  And here we are getting….snow or sleet or rain..or something….Told him he didn’t have to hurry home, ’cause he didn’t have much exciting to come home too today, except bad weather.

More rambling later…

Insurance is a necessity these days.  And sometimes it can be confusing.  That why you need to find someone to help explain it to you in a plain language that you can understand.  So, if you live in the UK and are looking for car insurance, home insurance, or even life insurance, you need to check out the people at Thriftyscot.co.uk!!

I find insurance to be very confusing sometimes, but I AM thankful that I have a decent insurance agent that will explain it to me and help me choose the right coverage.

…I’m done rambling for tonight.  I’m going to finish eating here, and then….I’m not sure what I’m going to do.  I think I’ll boot up one of our off-line games for a few minutes, and play that while I’m eating, and then probably…possibly…maybe…go lay down for awhile.  I’m SURE I’ll be around at some point tomorrow, so look for more rambling about nothing then!!!  You all have a good evening and take care….*hugs* to those that normally get them (you know who you are).

Okay, maybe I don’t buy flowers often enough, but I didn’t know there was such a thing as wholesale flowers and retail flowers. Of course, in this day and age, I suppose it would only be logical.  To tell you the truth, I don’t buy flowers very often, and the kinds I DO buy are the ones that need planted, or are in a pot.  Maybe I should do something weird one of these days when I have a few extra bucks and send flowers to a friend…just to say I did?

Are ya’ll tired of reading my rambling yet today?….*L*…Welcome to my life!!!

Nope…NOT a clue as to what a wall sconce is.  That link takes you to a lighting website, I think.  Maybe it’s a type of light fixture?  Hmmmmm….I certainly hope that it’s more attractive than the name says it is.  I always think of a cone when I see the word “sconce”, and that is NOT a very attractive picture for a light fixture.

Looks like another night when I’m not really tired.  The only question is:  Do I go to bed anyway?  Or do I stay up and do something constructive?  Hmmmmm….I’m not sure.  I think I’m going to grab something more to eat, to start with, and then go from there.  I’m half tempted to stay up and work on my knitting for a bit.  I COULD…POSSIBLY have the first half of it done tomorrow, if I can knit with my sore fingers that long.  I’m making good progress, though, even if I DON’T get the first half of it done completely tomorrow.  SHOULD definitely have the first half of it done by the weekend though!!!…YEAH!!!  Then I can start the second half and see how it comes out!!  Having the first half COMPLETELY done will tell me ALOT though, as the size seems AWFULLY small in my opinion.  It’s probably not, but we’ll have to see.

Yep, that’s what I’d have to say this entry is…right up my alley!!!  I LOVE horses and just about anything to do with them!!  I LOVE looking at saddles and tack and brushes and combs and horse riding apparel and books about horses and stories about horses and movies about horses.  I even love the smell of a horse!!!  Best perfume on Earth, if you ask me!!!  I LOVE riding and working with horses!!!  Ahhhhhh, what can I say?  I LOVE HORSES!!!

…cold tonight.  We took care of the animals a bit early this afternoon, as it had already started to cool off.  And it’s cooled off about 15 or 20 degrees since then.  It was only about 35 or so today for a high anyway.  Supposed to have freezing drizzle and freezing rain tonight and tomorrow, then some more rain on Friday.  What can we say?  It’s December in Kansas.  I’m just glad it’s waited THIS long before the weather started getting nasty!!  One NICE thing about home schooling, though, is that the kids don’t have to go out in the weather to get to school.  There’s no worrying about the bus on slick roads.  There’s no worrying about kids getting stupid on the ice on the playground before classes start.  The weather outside can be bad, and all we have to do is go to the kitchen table and watch the weather do whatever out the window while we do our work!!!  I LOVE home schooling!!!

As she walked through the office area towards the head-hancho’s office, she looked at the cluttered desks, the workers who were standing by the water cooler chatting, the computer screens that had games on them instead of actual work.  She looked at the piles of papers that went untouched for Lord knows how long on most of the desks, the phone message papers that had never had anything done with them, the trash cans that were overflowing with fast food joint’s sacks and boxes.  She opened the door to the head-hancho’s office and as she stepped in and closed the door behind her, she said “Yep!!!  You need some business performance management!!!”
