Yep, that about sums it up around here. Life has been STRESSFUL, in more ways than one, which has made life around here a little….shall we say “messed up”.
Things have been going on between family members and on-line friends. I’m not sure WHERE to stand on that mess. Frankly, I’m not even sure all of what has been going on. The on-line friend has said not to let it cause a rift between me and the family members involved. I told her that wouldn’t happen, and if it did, wellllllll, in MY mind, I’m just an innocent bystander in all of it, so if it caused a rift between me and family members that I continue to stay out of it, then maybe I’m better off with that rift. I’m STILL not sure what’s totally going on there, but I DO know that I’m not, at least at THIS time, involved in the disputes and arguments that have been going on. Soooooo, I just stay on the sidelines….not saying much….try to lend my support where I think it needs to be, and watch things unfold. Hopefully things will settle down a bit in this area soon, though!!
In other news, there’s problems on the home-front too. I won’t go into details, but it HAS caused a WHOLE lot of stress around here that’s not needed. I have enough problems of my own that cause stress…I REALLY don’t need any more.
We’ve had the neighbors from up the block down SEVERAL times in the last week or two. We’ve gotten pretty close to them!! Seem like GREAT people that could be a WEALTH of resources for this area, as well as information….and even a shoulder to lean on when I need it, though at this point, I don’t think they realize just how much I try to keep hidden from the “public” view. (”Bigo”, if you’re reading this, that is NOT a hint that you need to come down and visit more….just a statement of fact. The kids and I love seeing you and your “significant other”!!!) Frankly, it’s been NICE having someone come visit a time or two a week!!! It’s kind of different having some actual ADULT conversation from someone OUTSIDE my own little world….kind of different and kind of NICE!!!
We are working on getting my Sister’s car back on the road. Looks like it’s going to have to go to the shop, but HOPEFULLY, it will be running again before the week is out?….*hopeful look*
Well, time to get out of here and try to stay cool!!! Actual temperature is about 102 degrees, with 9000% humidity. House is DEFINITELY not bad, temeperature-wise, though!!!
